Leah Austin is a multidisciplinary fabricator and designer with a degree in Scenic Design and Technology from The University of Texas at Austin. Driven by curiosity and a love of learning, she actively seeks out new skills to apply to creative, hands-on projects. Leah thrives in large-scale, collaborative environments and is deeply grateful for her educational and professional experiences during her time in the UT Theatre and Dance department and Texas Performing Arts.
Her recent work includes producing, designing and fabricating Hysteria, her B.A. Honors thesis about invisible illnesses within the community. "Hysteria is a true culmination of my identity as an artist - merging a life of chronic pain with a background in studio art, studies in theatre design and a recent love of fabrication."
